Who

This site is published by Luca Cacchiani / LX Software, an independent software and consulting studio in Hong Kong. The contact mailbox is hello@lx-software.com.

What this site collects

The site does not run accounts, comments, or a newsletter. It does not ask you to create a profile.

The host keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, and time) to operate and secure the site. Those logs are not used for advertising.

When you get in touch

If you email, call, or message through the contact links, I use that conversation to reply. I do not sell it and I do not add you to a mailing list.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages, sections, links, and buttons are used (for example which contact channel or FAQ entry was opened). It records the kind of link, not the number or address behind it. Google sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell returning visitors from new ones. The data is aggregated and is not used for advertising. Google's own privacy policy applies to that processing.

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the analytics script is not loaded at all. You can also block it with a content blocker or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Cookies and media

This site does not set advertising cookies. Beyond the analytics cookies above, it sets none of its own. The harbour video is decoration. It has no audio and carries no extra tracking pixel of its own. It is served from this site, or from media.lx-software.com when that host is configured.

Links to LinkedIn, WhatsApp, WeChat, and the project sites leave this site. Those services have their own privacy policies.
